Get Operation Search Availability

Reports whether operation search is configured on this API deployment.

When a request for one question would exceed an Organization-minute, Organization-day, or deployment-minute question budget, the response includes rate_limited with a reason and a UTC reset_at timestamp. If more than one budget is exhausted, the timestamp reflects the latest reset. The check does not use any question allowance.

⚠️ The result is a snapshot. A later request can be limited even if this response has no rate_limited field, especially if it contains two or three questions or other requests use the shared budget. Concurrent-call limits are not included. The search request’s 429 response and Retry-After header are authoritative.

If your request does not identify an Organization, the response reports only enabled. When enabled is false, rate_limited is omitted. If Polytomic cannot check the question budgets, the endpoint returns 503.
